St. Joseph Consolidated School Inclusion Team - Upcoming Events

Hello Inclusion Team (and experts),

 

1) Our next Inclusion Team meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, March 31st from 2:30 til 4:00. The meeting will be held in the library at St. Joseph Consolidated School, 925 S. Second St. in Hamilton.

 

    During the meeting we will discuss the following:

       - Successes in March;

       - Suggestions for Mike's day;

       - Everybody Counts Program;

       - Kindergarten/ First Grade Manipulatives (report from St. Susanna's);

 

2) On Friday, March 12th, at 3:10 P.M. there is a meeting scheduled with Lauren Kubrin (Special Education Coordinator from St. Susanna's) and one of the Teachers Aide's at St. Susanna's. St. Susanna's has had years of experience with inclusion. Their first student with Down syndrome graduated a couple years ago and the second student is now in fifth grade. We will be asking questions about their successes and specifics about manipulatives and lesson modifications. If someone would be willing to make the visit with me that would be great. I can provide transportation from St. Joes and back. Let me know if you're available,
